Why a set
A quiet way to begin.
A chawan alone can feel like a large first step. A tin of matcha alone has nowhere to be whisked.
This set removes that hesitation — one chawan, chosen by CHAWAN ROOM, and matcha enough to begin the daily ritual. A quieter entry into a world we usually show one piece at a time.
Beyond the set, all you need is hot water and a chasen (bamboo whisk).

Each set carries a one-of-one chawan we select at the time it is prepared — in the same spirit as the pieces already curated in the collection, at a gentler entry point.
This is why the set is not shown at a single fixed price: what you receive, and what it becomes, is decided as each set is made ready.
